Hi stampers!
Today's lay out is one I did just last week. I am working on my own 2008 album and just finished scrappin' my son Nicholas's 3rd birthday. Here is a look.
Supplies:
Stamp set- Big Birthday Candle, Big Bold Birthday
Paper- Ruby Red, So Saffron, Baja Breeze, Sweet Slumber Designer Series Paper
Inks- Ruby Red, So Saffron
Accessories- chipboard (letters and #3)
Toosl - scallop circle punch and 1 3/4 circle punch.

Welcome to Tutorial Thursday! Today's tutorial was taken from Splitcoast and was written by a fellow demo. I plan of doing a Tile Class as these make excellent gifts. If interested in this class, let me know and I will schedule this soon rather than later.
Create a set of coasters or trivets for gift giving.
Begin by inking up your large background stamp with black Stazon™ ink and stamp your tile. Use a generous amount of pressure.
Don’t worry if your result is somewhat blotchy. This will give your tile an antique worn look!
Stamp your main image using black Stazon™ Ink. Again, make sure you use a considerable amount of pressure.
Allow the image to dry for about 10 minutes.
Using colored Stazon™ ink and a sponge dauber, begin to dab color onto your image. Do not rub, just dab.
Use a second color to add depth. Allow the coaster to dry for about 10 minutes.
Finished Front of coaster.
Add four small or medium felt pads to the corners of the underside of each coaster to protect furniture during use. These felt pads are available at your home improvement store as well.
Make these in sets of four and group them together to give as gifts.

Inks- Pumpkin Pie, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip and Black Stazon.

Accessories- Chocolate Chip 5/8 ribbon

This week's Show'em What You Got Sunday's stamp set is Pun Fun. This is a great versatile set. You can make so many different cards using this set. Take a peek at some 3x3 note cards I made using the set. Also used was the Rainbow Sherbet Designer Series Paper. Check out the little magazine holder in the background that matches. This holder is where I keep all the cards. Take a look.
This is a 8 piece stamp set. I only used 6 of the 8 stamps for this particular project, but click here to see the whole set. I used my markers and blender pens to color in the images. This is a great set to use various watercoloring techniques. Stayed tuned the rest of the week when I show you more samples using this great set.

Here is a great tutorial I found on Splitcoast. This one of the new stamp sets and I can't wait to have a class using it.
Add a special surprise to the inside of your card with a pop-up image.
Fold the cardstock for the inside of the card in half.
Place the cardstock with the mountain side of the score line facing up on the paper cutter and cut two parallel lines over the score line with the paper cutter.
Alternative:
Use an Xacto knife™ and ruler instead of the paper cutter.
Here, the lines were cut 1" from the left-hand side of the cardstock. The cuts are 2 1/4" long and 3/8" apart.
Note:
The longer the cuts, the further into the card the pop up element will be.
The wider apart the strips are from each other, the thicker the pop up strip will be.
Use a scoring tool to create a score line between the cuts.
Push the pop up strip out.
Flip the cardstock over.
The pop up card base is done.
Decorate the inside of the card.
Clouds were added by sponging white pigment ink over a hand-cut mask.
Stamp the images that will pop up when the card opens.
Cut all images.
Add Scor-Tape™ (or other strong adhesive) to the top of the pop up strip.
Adhere cut out image to the pop up strip.
Finish decorating the card inside.
Add adhesive to the back of the card inside.
Adhere the card inside to the card base.
Decorate the card front.
Punch, not Cut
Use Stampin' Up!'s Window Word punch to punch two parallel slots. Score the top and bottom between the slots to make the pop up strip.
Add Tabs instead
Instead of cutting or punching slots, cut a strip of cardstock, score it three times, and adhere to the center of the card over the score.
Adhere image to tab.
